My professional journey has been anything but linear, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I started my career in investment banking, working with Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and UBS, as well as trading companies on the East and West Coasts of the United States, placing software engineers at the intersection of technology and finance. The more I understood, the more I descended into the roots, uncovering start-ups and the creation of new products that change the way we live and interact with the world around us.
Despite the challenges and success, I made the decision to pursue a long-standing curiosity: cognitive science. This led me to a career in education, where I became a specialist teacher and Head of Science. Teaching allowed me to delve into the mechanics of human behavior and learning—insights that have influenced my approach to everything I do.
Returning to recruitment with a renewed perspective, my approach to the industry is markedly different from when I first started. I incorporate a person-centric, behaviorism-based model into my practice, grounded in research and practical application.
This led to founding Moji Labs where I could ensure all output was thoughtful, intentional, and void of bias and a target-driven environment ensuring the end user is truly at its core.
